Code of conduct
Lion’s Mane (also known as “Hericium erinaceus”) is a unique, fluffy-looking mushroom that resembles a lion’s mane. The fruiting bodies are round, ranging from 5 to 30 cm in diameter, and covered in characteristic white hanging spines. Naturally, this mushroom grows in North America, Asia, and Europe, but it is quite a rare species in Poland.
Taste and culinary use
This mushroom has a delicate, slightly nutty flavor and a unique, meat-like texture, making it popular with both vegetarians and fans of traditional cuisine. It can be fried, sautéed, grilled, or added to soups and creamy risottos. It’s also perfect for fusion dishes, adding a special aroma and texture.
Growing – easy and fun
Optimal growing temperature is 12–21°C. The kit includes a substrate fully colonized with mycelium, ready for fruiting. The mushroom is ready to harvest when its entire surface is covered in spines. For best results, start growing immediately after receiving your package.
One kit can yield 2–4 harvests. After harvesting, mushrooms can be kept in the fridge for a few days, though they taste best fresh.
Why choose our mushroom growing kit?
The kit includes everything you need to enjoy home-grown fresh mushrooms: a growing box and a spray bottle. It brings the joy of harvesting while serving as a beautiful kitchen decor piece and a great gift idea for foodies.
