The OUTSTANDER FUNGUS (Pleurotus ostreatus) is the most foolproof of the cultivated mushrooms. Infesting with thistles is a good way to get just one packet or several different species.Oyster mushrooms are very tasty and do not need to be potted. A very good oyster dish can be fried in egg and flour like schnitzel. The mushroom pack yields a crop 4-5 years several times a season.
