Conifer Tuft mushroom logs are spruce logs approximately 20 cm in diameter and 35-40 cm long, already inoculated with mycelium, providing harvests for 4-5 years, 2-3 times per season. Be sure to bury at least 2/3 of the mushroom pack in the ground.
The Conifer Tuft is a delicious late-autumn mushroom that looks cute and beautiful when pickled. It doesn’t require parboiling and can be used like other wild mushrooms in sauces, with meat, or as a topping with butter and garlic. The Conifer Tuft is small, with a cap 3-7 cm in diameter, but many can grow on the log at once. The stems are a bit tough, but if you like a bit of crunch, they work very well too.
More detailed instructions will be included in the package. You can find the mushroom log care instructions HERE.
