It is the right time to make some oyster mushroom logs to get a harvest. To do this, you need a man with a saw, fresh aspen wood and mycelium of the oyster mushroom \ud83d\ude42<\/p>

  1. Take a freshly felled aspen with intact bark. In principle, apple trees, alder trees, birch trees, etc. are also suitable, but experience has shown that oyster mycelium grows best on aspen. Cut tree into 40\u201350 cm logs which are about 20\u201340 cm in diameter. Cut a 7-cm-thick disc from each log. Keep the disc.<\/li>
  2. Put on clean rubber gloves.<\/li>
  3. Open the mycelium bag for the first time. Sprinkle a thin layer of mycelium on the log. 1 kilogram of mycelium is enough to inoculate at least 10-15 logs.\u00a0<\/li>
  4. Put back the previously cut disc and nail it. Do not hit the nail exactly in the middle; the disc may break.<\/li>
  5. Wrap a layer of food film around the edge of the disc.<\/li>
  6. Put the mushroom package in a plastic bag, make a few holes with a needle, and leave it to grow in a warm place for 1-2 months. The pack grows fastest at a uniform room temperature of approximately . 20\u201324 degrees.
    The mushroom package is ready for digging into the ground when the package has turned white from about 1\/3 to the whole part, and white mycelium can already be seen from the other end of the package.
    Remove the plastic bag and dig the mushroom pack in a sheltered spot in the garden. A smaller package can also be “planted” in a flower pot. The package must go at least 2\/3 into the soil; 1\/3 remains outside. Put the end of the nail on the north side of the hole, and then the disc will not dry out. Choose a place that you often pass by, because mushrooms appear quickly and can go unnoticed \ud83d\ude42
    During the dry period, it is necessary to water the plant.
    Mushrooms can be harvested for 4-5 years, usually 2-3 times a season from spring to winter. But the most important thing is not to sleep on the catch. Therefore, if you notice mushrooms somewhere in nature, go and look for your own \ud83d\ude42
